Studio Owner Jodey Lowber has been teaching Pilates in the Louisville area since 2002. She is a former master teacher/educator for Los Angeles based Pilates Sports Center. She has led multiple teacher training courses as well as a variety of continuing education workshops for instructors & practitioners including: Pilates for Scoliosis, Pilates on the Jump Board (Levels One-Three), Ladder Barrel Progressions, Pilates for Chronic Pain & Pilates for Equestrians. Jodey finds Pilates beneficial for all age groups, personalities and body types. Her clients range from proficient athletes to post operative physical therapy patients and everyone in-between. She finds that adapting Pilates to a wide range of people keeps her creative and intrigued by what Pilates has to offer each individual.
Since the beginning of her career, Jodey’s been drawn to working with those with special interests. She has experience working with the visually impaired, multiple sclerosis, partial paralysis, spinal/pelvic degeneration, hip/knee replacement, pregnancy and more. She designs workshops for chronic pain sufferers, utilizing the components of Pilates that both stabilizes the skeletal frame and promotes flexibility and strength to its musculature.

Kimberly Cox is a former professional ballet dancer whose performing career spanned over 15 years. She has been teaching ballet for over 25 years and has been teaching Pilates since 2001. She was introduced to Pilates as part of her recuperation after foot surgery, under the guidance of Jacqui Greene Haas, author of Dance Anatomy. She was originally certified through the PhysicalMind Institute and she has also trained in both Stott and Polestar Pilates systems. Over the last several years, Kimberly has acquired a wealth of certifications, including but not limited to TRX, Resist-a-Ball, Zumba, and Progressing Ballet Technique. She has had experience instructing various special populations, including Pre/Post Natal Yoga and Pilates, Osteoporosis, and Pilates for athletes and performing artists. Kimberly just moved back to Louisville after spending the last several years running a ballet school in Austin, TX. While in Austin, she also taught at the Pilates Center of Austin, founded by Wendy LeBlanc-Arbuckle. She spends any free time she has with her two teenage children and two dogs. Kimberly’s motto is “Enjoy the journey.” It is necessary to appreciate the process, and not just focus on the end result.

During an extensive career in advertising, Becky decided to add Pilates to her busy fitness and work schedule. Her Pilates practice seemed like a perfect second act after getting married and having a baby. She loved how Pilates made her feel both mentally and physically.
Becky was certified through Pilates Sports Center in Louisville, Ky in 2019 & is currently pursuing a Level One classical certification through Peak Pilates. The benefits of learning both contemporary & classical Pilates will provide a well balanced education to assist her clients through every level in their Pilates experience, whether they are physically limited or proficient in performing all of the Pilates choreography.
